Olive pitching in...

Recycle All You Can

In 1999, Olive E was hired by Montgomery County, Maryland, to write a song that would educate children on environmental issues and serve as the theme song for the county's recycling campaign.
"Recycle All You Can," an upbeat and catchy number encouraging kids to do their part for the environment, was used in an educational video as well as played live for the campaign's kick-off tour. The song's memorable lyrics give a sense of the wonder of the natural world and the gravity of letting it go to waste.

Should your community, school, or family want to teach children about the value of caring for the world around us, "Recycle All You Can" is a wonderful tool. To order a copy of the CD . . .

Recycle All You Can

In my life Recycle all you can
I never really took the time It's easy to understand
to think about that what we use in life
what we leave behind winds up
in someone else's hands (x2)
I always thought
that what we don't have Let history say
can be bought that we're all here today
In a world full of waste To give something back
some things just can't be replaced to life

Recycle all you can And then you will find
It's easy to understand a new peace of mind
that what we use in life It's true what they say
winds up What you do
in someone else's hands (x2) comes back to you

Let the sunflowers sway Recycle all you can
Listen to the birds singing away It's easy to understand
as the fish play kiss and catch that what we use in life
winds up
Take a look around in someone else's hands (x3)
at this magical world we've found
Giving us all its got
365 days a year
